Film is art, and we use art as looking glass to perceive our world. Don't wipe out over 15 years of meanginful film discussion. Keep the forums alive so we can continue to meet and discuss the movies we love.

I firmly believe that the message boards MUST remain as a terrific option for us film buffs to analyze the films that fascinate us. Please do not remove our voices.

IMDb is the only place on the internet where you can discuss ANY movie, short, TV show, documentary -- anything -- ever made. Please do not remove the message boards. You think there are active twitter discussions about old or obscure films?

Real ordinary people , without them there would be no movie or TVs industry. They should be aloud to criticise and applaud this industry .Real people and not overpaid poncy middle class film critics who tend to spoil the narrative in many of there reviews.

I've been visiting IMDb's site since the beginning. I actually don't post to the message boards, but I do visit the site to read the comments and opinions made about certain movies and shows I was interested in at the time. Please take that into consideration, since you may not realize that there are people who just come there to read. I believe it's the best thing about IMDb, and I would find myself lest likely to go on the site if the message board isn't there. Thank you!

Please, IMDb, re-think your astonishing decision to delete the message boards. This site is the one I visit the most. I have consulted your message boards on an almost daily basis, leading back many years, to learn more about film and what others have to say about it. Your IMDb message boards are the crown jewel of the Internet.

IMDB's message boards are the only social media I have used online, I have been on the BBC North and South one since 2006. It has been like a virtual community. I will miss it very much.

The imdb have been a part of my life since I was a teenager. Other than a few trolls, it's a fun place to share opinions with fellow fans of movies and television. I believe it's a big mistake to get rid of them based on a few bad apples.

The boards are a great way to share info, ask questions, and vent. Many of us regulars on the board have become like family. We have posted and been familiar with each other for YEARS, using our individual usernames, without having people privy to our identities using social media. This makes ZERO sense.
