I come to the Imdb message boards after every movie I watch. It is half the pleasure of a movie, reading the discussions there!

The IMDb message board is an essential part of the page. It brings movie fans closer and engages them in interesting and fun discussions about films, series and actors. It's one of the main reasons people love IMDb and why it is one of the greatest sites that people have loved for over a decade. The site has unequaled information about film and actors that is and remains the main part of the page either way, but it will be visited and enjoyed less if they remove this essential part of IMDb. There is nowhere else people can discuss these matters this directly online. We can't discuss individual movies or celebrities on facebook or twitter. It brings fans together and it would be a great mistake and loss if it was removed.

WTF? I check the boards every time I watch a movie or tv show to discuss it with others. Sure there's a minority who can't control their idiocy but that's what the Internet is about, ignoring the trolls and communicating with other like minded folk

Save the message boards! It is such a great platform to discuss movies and share thought about it. The boards are for the movie fans and it will be a great loss.

Please keep the boards going. Despite the drama (we've all dealt with it since the first day of school), we all love and use these boards for many various things, first and foremost discussing our love and news of movies.
