Very helpful, useful feature unique to movie/cinema appreciation. Hardly use IMDB any longer as a result of this deleted commodity.

Message boards need to come back. IT was my habit to look AMD discuss a serie or movie. Theres no way to meke connections nog or vent to What had happend. Better to dump the reviews, message boards was my real review and discussform

Even the "old software" worked just fine for us! I never saw a complaint regarding the message board layout. And there are MANY message boards that use the same technology. I don't believe your answer of "old software" being a valid reason! IMDb.com USED to be my favorite web site on the entire internet!

Please re-open the IMDb message board. It was a place where I got a lot of helpful information on movies. I would very much appreciate it if it was re-opened. Thank you.

I've greatly reduced my visits to IMDb now that the message boards are gone. Discussions have not moved to social media and I can't find anywhere to engage with online community when it comes to specific plot points or obscure movies.

The message boards were an invaluable resource for discussing classic/art movies. It was an integral part of the service. Please bring it back!

There is no real alternative to the imdb messageboard. I tried Reddit but it's a mess, it's hard to follow a specific movie because i feel like the movie topics are scattered around Reddit.

These forums were truly great for any person who want to discuss cinema. I have never seen something like that before and now that it no longer exists, I can feel the difference and the loss.
It is true that sometimes troll were making it annoying but it is a small downside compared to its in depth discussion. I would agree to do volunteering and be a moderator free of charge if that could help. In fact I would enjoy doing it.
These forums have to get back anyway because there is almost no other reason people will go on your site. I hardly believe you are destroying that great platform, it looks like a suicide to me.
