One of the first things I do after watching a new TV show or film is go to its imdb message board! THE best source for sharing reactions to a movie or a tv show. Please keep the boards!

Ironically I just joined ImdbPRO one day before this announcement. If plans remain on course, I will be canceling that membership. And two weeks is not nearly enough time to archive all the information I would like to save. Why such short notice?

The message boards are the reason I visit IMDB on a regular basis! I enjoy seeing others opinions and theories on different movies and shows I've watched.

Please don't do this IMDB. Though I understand there is bad it has so much. More good, so many times I have simply logged on to see what other people thought about a movie I just watched to see what specific things and thoughts were on their minds. It has helped me get a better understanding and realizing plots of the movie that I viewed it differently and thought it meant something completely different.

IMDb cannot remove the message boards! They are the primary source of feedback I consider, both when deciding to see a film, and after viewing a film to answer any lingering questions... The result would be me visiting IMDb much, much less! Please reconsider!

The message boards are the only reason I visit IMDb. The other information can found on countless other websites. If they take away the message boards they might as well shut down the entire site.

DON'T LET THE BAD GUYS WIN! I've been coming to the message boards as long as I can remember IMDB.com! They are one of my FAVORITE features about the IMDB, as it's always fun to be able to get views about certain things I wish to discuss with others, and it's also a way we can help each other too. It's unfortunate about the trolls, but we are all grown-ups. If the boards are removed, then THE BAD GUYS WIN!
