The message board is much more convenient as part of the IMDB site than it would be otherwise. To disconnect it from the site and force people who want to comment to do so on something like Facebook is extremely unappealing.

I don't write much at all on the boards but after I see any movie or show, I ALWAYS click through the IMDb message boards for further insights, and sometimes I find such insightful opinions that I find a completely different perspective to what I watched. And that makes it all worth it. Please keep the message boards for exactly this reason.

I sign this petition b/c I feel that an American's right to speak & share their opinion w/ others is being infringed upon. If the issue is $ or mgt. then IMDb Message Board Posters s/d be more informed. In closing, I feel that this act is an instance of the beginings of a disturbing trend of a highly vocal & powerful minority overwhelming the silent majority!

Why are you taking away the best and most popular thing about IMDB? If hundreds of millions of people use and enjoy this feature why take it away?Give the audience what they want!

If you remove the message boards I am never going to use the site again, you are going to lose most of your traffic. I will visit rottentomatoes or similar sites, gonna block the imdb site.

Hello. I visit your site almost daily. It is well put together and very informative. It's one of my favorite apps. I especially enjoy the message boards. Please reconsider abandoning it. I realize that there are trolls on the boards just as there are on most popular boards. Most of us can figure out who they are and choose to ignore them. Thank you for your time.

I am a regular visitor to the IMDb site, partly because I can often learn things about a movie from comments on the messageboards. You have to apply a mental filter to the comments, but that is true on virtually any web site that allows comments!

I do not really see the point of moving the message boards! It is the best thing on this website! It is really cool to talk to total strangers about movies that you share in common. Please do not remove it!
