The IMDb boards have always been my first and foremost go-to for questions/opinions on different films. Even clicking through the different threads has a way of making you see a film from another perspective. I will truly be sad if the message boards are taken away and see myself using IMDb less -including the app.

Don't do it! I will not be going to your Social Media outlets to discuss movies as they are crap and useless and too broad!

Please do not shut down the forums. They have become a part of my movie viewing, and I enjoy participating in discussions. There are thousands of movie forums (and tv shows) that are used by calm, well-mannered users. Please do not end the forums because of a few people. I will volunteer to moderate some forums if volunteers are what is needed to keep them alive.

The message boards are a valuable tool for research and connection...particularly for those of us in the study of vintage film! Just this morning I was able to read the musings and temperance of an actor who appeared in a production with an actress I was researching. I'm broken-hearted to think this will be deleted and taken away!!! Please reconsider!!!

Without the message boards, I have little reason to visit IMDB. Any information I want is easier obtained through Wiki or other sources. It's the conversations that gets me to the site.

Please save the message boards! I am a daily IMDB user, mostly on message boards. IMDB will not be the same. If the trolls are the only problem/reason why not use moderators?!

PLEASE do not get rid of the IMDb.com message boards. MANY of us access the boards regularly, and have been doing so for years. PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!! If it's all about money only, figure out a way to make more money off of the boards.
