Petition to keep the IMDB messageboards going

WHY JUST WHY

Save the IMDb message boards!! Please!

IMDB boards are basically the only reason why I uses IMDB other than keeping track of my own ratings, which I can do easily on an excel sheet

Please do not remove the message boards! They are so much more to my enjoyment of movies! Please reconsider!!

The IMDb boards have helped me share and discover movies with friends all over the globe for many years now.

I have been a member of IMDB for well over 10 years. I visit the site a lot for the message boards because it helps me understand the questions I have about the movie without searching hours online reading multiple articles. If IMDB removes the message boards, I will significantly visit the website less.

Please don't shut the message boards down. There is so much talent in this community and I read and read and occasionally comment. We need a place where we can get insight and also to express ourselves that is unique, and the message boards do the trick. I love them, and occasional trolls don't bother me. Many many message threads are EPIC! Please don't shut these boards down. The creativity is amazing, the people amazing, and I love it here. We need a place dedicated to film, and no other social media could fill this need. Please reconsider and recognize that the IMDB message boards are such a part of IMDB, I for one will mourn for this place so much.

The boards are one of the best things about IMDB, there's actually some good informative comments. Please reconsider.

I don't always comment on the boards, but it is one of my favorite aspects of the site. For as long as I've been coming to the site it is probably the feature I most enjoy. Learning that the message boards are being shut down greatly impacts my need to ever use IMDB. There is literally nothing outside of casting credits that I will find of value on the site with the message boards gone.

Please at least keep the more active boards, and the movie boards.

The message boards are an important part of why I like the internet so much: discussion. How else can I discuss, interpret, and analyze old films? Please IMDB, keep the message boards up and running!

I've never actually posted anything on the message boards. But the message boards are my favorite thing about IMDb! I visit the message board for every film, TV show and actor/actress that I look up! It's the most interesting part of your site along with the trivia section. Please don't take away the message boards!

imdb removing it because of hate messages and trolls seriously 2017 now grow up they are lying imdb only removing the comments section on imdb to destroy your free opinions about the movies so imdb can create it's own dribble PR stunts with companies creating good reviews for revenue and greed and profit for themselfs IT IS DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR TRAITORS TO YOUR ORIGINAL FANBASE THAT CREATED YOU I SAY BOYCOTT'EM I LIVE IN A WORLD WITH FREE SPEECH REMOVING IMDB COMMENTS BOARD IS NOT FREE SPEECH YOU NAZI COMPANY

The message boards are the main reason I go to IMDb.

These boards are the only place that we can share ideas about movies, actors, and tv shows. It's a collective place that I happen to enjoy a lot. Ten years I've been coming here. Please don't take that away from us. =(

I love & live for the IMDB message boards, whether I'm teaching or being taught cinema information or simply discussing a recent hit, old favorite or new find!

Don't get rid of them!

Please keep the message-board!

Please do not shut down the forums. THis is the most attractive part of the site and the sole reason for me visiting it for the last 7 years. No forums means, I'll not be visiting IMDB any more.

I have been a member for 12 years, I cant image where I will go next to discuss the new eps of my favourite shows
