There are lots of trolls, but for every troll out there, there are 10 legitimate, respectful contributors. I can deal with the trolls. I don't feed them.

Please don't DISABLE.... it's a phenomenal feature and frankly one of the only reasons I visit....it's amazing to be able to ask real people questions.... not just Google....

I've been a member for over 10 years, I never watch a movie or great television show without checking out the board afterwards for discussion. This simply does not exist in any other format anywhere else on the internet. This feature is what sets the site apart, there will be little purpose to visit otherwise.

I mean, I can understand shutting down the message boards that have nothing to do with movies or TV, such as the Food and Politics boards. But the ones on the movie pages are irreplaceable. There's nowhere else to find a forum dedicated specifically to those random little obscure films. On IMDb, you know someone somewhere has seen them and wants to talk about them.

If I visit IMDB, it's for the message boards. I can't comprehend the reason behind shutting it down. Are you sure you have good data to support this decision? Trolls are everywhere. It's part of internet discussion world. Most people know how to deal with them.

Have been a member for over 10 years, mainly because of the forums. Where else will have a dedicated board for every movie and tv show? This greatly diminishes the IMDB experience. I hate you now.

I've always relied on the message boards to connect with fans and get further insight to my favorite actors/programs/movies. PLEASE do not shut them off. :(

Used IMDB since it started many years ago-Its wrong that The Many have to suffer due to actions of The Few. I will use wiki if there are no boards to utilize.
