Please rethink this decision! I have seen another site do it and it turned them into another internet junk website. Recently they decided to reverse there decision and brought back their message boards. Don't do there mistake. Keep the boards.

I understand that sometime certain others may be harsh, but this was a good place to discuss Therios and for others to share news or other interesting things about TV shows and movies

This was such a cool place to come and read/take part in fun discussion about the movies. The fact that every movie you can think of had it's very own board was great, and this doesn't exist anywhere else as far as I know. IMDB was ahead of the curve back in the day when it started the boards. Before social aspects existed on most sites. It would be a real shame to lose that.

I've been using the site for over a decade, its where I go to check other peoples opinions of movies that I've seen. It's part of the enjoyment of the experience. But I think its also an important source of public opinion for film makers. Losing the message board would be such a great loss.

I don't participate with Facebook etc so this my only way to stay in touch with the entertainment world. Please keep message board open.

Message boards are a vital part of the imdb community.
They simply cannot be replaced adequately. It would be a huge mistake to drop them.

The message boards are what makes IMDB, well, IMDB. The message boards are the best part as they allow viewers to read other people's insights about movies and help clear up any lingering questions from a movie. Negative people are a part of life and they will always find a way to spread their negativity. Please don't let negativity win by taking down the message boards!

I love imdb and will almost certainly quit. Shame I've been a member for +14 years and I read comments of folks who were there since IMDb was nothing but a little web page held together by a tiny bunch of people who just shared their love of movies. All these years of loyal membership down the toilet by a pen stroke.

I can't believe they are getting rid of something so good what's the point? I like reading and posting comments about famous people and films it's been my favourite most interesting site for over 15 years. I will not use it through another stupid site such as Twitter or fb. May as well close the whole site. How disappointing.

This message board is the reason I come to IMDB. That was the whole point of it, to get insight, share thoughts and opinions and thus get better understanding regarding films. Don't stop that. No use for IMDB without the boards.
