Please, maintain the boards. We know there are a lot of trolls, but we just ignore them and look for the good content, you don't need to hurt everyone because of some minority. The suggestions you guys gave of using your social media makes no sense, there's nothing like the message boards, i have found precious information, analysis and recomendations on those boards, it is a crime to take it down. Please keep them.

The message boards is the main reason I visit your site. Even with a bunch of trolls skulking around there, it's an amazing resource for all things movie- or TV-related.

I enjoy the IMDB message boards, as I am a frequent visitor myself. I rarely comment, but I use the boards both for reference and entertainment.
I think the traffic and popularity on the message boards may be underestimated because many people do the same.

Innovation is not breaking what works. Customer service is not denying service that your customers clearly prefer. Breaking new ground is not taking two steps back. Embracing the future does not mean erasing the past.

One of the main reasons I come on here is to get regular people's opinions about shows and movies. Shutting down the boards will really put a damper on this. This is one site where everything is in one place and I do not have to hop around to find what I am looking for. Bad move!
