Please do not take away the discussion boards. I use them for almost every movie I watch to get other opinions, ask questions, and see what I missed in scenes, symbolism, etc. Facebook does not organize comments in any way. People watch movies throughout years, decades, lifetimes. Please please please!!

The imdb boards are what I check every time I watch a new movie. They are an inavauble part of the site and should be kept.

Like others have said the message boards are where I go to have questions answered, to see if a movie/TV show is worth watching, to discuss a movie/TV show I have watched and much more. I am unsure of the reasoning for taking it away. And also like others I do not know if I will continue to use IMDB if this feature is taken away. There are other places I can go for basic information about a movie/TV show.

I'm with all the others. It is shocking that this message board, which is compelling and entertaining and educational, should be taken away. Can not another sponsor be found? Can the contents at lease be archived? Please consider this. Thank you.

Almost 14 years as IMDB user. I spend few hours a week in these boards. Been doing it since I joined. I can not live with out it. Please keep them.
These boards are a living entity.

I have been a long time user on IMDB and the forums are the best part. DO NOT shut it down. Forget the trolls, if you shut them down the trolls win.

I've been a member of Imdb since 2005. The only I reason I became a member was to post to the message boards. I've spent a lot of time on the boards. I don't want to see them go away.

Longggg time IMDB user. I find the message boards a useful tool for researching and discussing films. Just ignore the trolls. Don't shut down a useful forum.
