Without the message boards i will visit IMDb considerably less. When i search for movies, first thing i do is scroll down and read the top messages. Usually those few comments tell me more than the Reviews.

I don't use twitter or Facebook IMDb and won't be. I never comment on the message boards, but learned a lot from them. Facebook and twitter won't be that helpful

IMDB this is censorship when it comes down to it.... It was and is the best part of your website. Do not make this huge mistake...keep it !!!

Please reconsider your decision to shut down imdb message board, I discuss almost every movie I see with other fellow members, it's a habit I formed through out the years, and it's so harsh to take this away from us.

I AM ACTUALLY SO MAD LIKE FOR REAL if i've ever had a question i just check out the message boards to see if it's been answered / to see alternate theories or interpretations LIKE COME ON MAN DON'T BE LIKE THIS

It is ridiculous to completely remove the message boards because of the trolls. You have let these negative, cruel people win. Horrendous!
When I want to learn more about a movie, tv show or actor, the first place I have gone to is imdb. I love being able to ask questions on the message boards and read others' questions and answers. I am very upset that imdb has decided to remove the message boards. I certainly won't be using the site.

IMDB is one of my daily (several times a day..) sites that I visit and use for all my movies and TV research. Taking away the board will compromise the communication that we fans have for your site. Please reconsider this decision

I love going on the boards to discuss upcoming movies, TV shows, etc. I love intelligent debate and discussion about movies and TV. To say social media such as Twitter and Facebook has or will replace the IMDb boards is completely misguided. First thing I always do after seeing a movie is go to the boards. Don't let a couple internet trolls ruin it for everyone.

What is wrong with U IMDB - message boards have so many information about movies and serials that closing it would be equal to closing 1/10 of Wikipedia and saying: "Everything is fine" No it is decidedly not. You are not the ones who produced there so many interesting and intriguing posts so deleting it - though legal - is still a spit in face of everyone using Your website - id est - Your clients.

IMDB messageboards is my favorite feature, so much insight into the worlds of cinema and history can be found at these boards. I'll be saying goodbye at IMBD after these are gone. No fun and inspiring anymore.

I don't and I won't use social network. The forum of each movie is the best place to find and share good and useful information and opinions. Even despite the trolls.
