My dance loving daughter was looking forward to go to Blake High School only because Ms. Danielle D'Anna conducts the dance program at that school. It's so unfair to do this to such a great teacher. She has touched so many lives all these years at BHS by not only being a dedicated & passionate dance teacher but also being a loving & caring teacher. She is a great asset to our community. We have to help to get her job back at BHS. We need you Ms. Danielle D'Anna❤️

Mrs. D’Anna has been my dance teacher for 2 years and she has taught me everything I know. Everything is thanks to her. Her passion for helping eager dancers makes students come back every year, myself included. She has taught me to be more confident and not to be shy and quiet. It would be a shame if new students wouldn’t be able to get the same experience I have had. I’ve seen the way she has taken beginners to experts and it’s incredible how much they grow because of her.

Personally, I don't even know her. But what I do know is that if someone has a passion for the arts, he should have the privilege to express himself and continue doing what he loves to. This just seems blatantly harsh. The Dance Company at my school is great and that's due to our great dance instructor, Ms. Brown. She's been with us since our school opened, and I honestly could not imagine a time when she hasn't exceeded our expectations. Dance teachers deserve so much more <3 #SaveOurTeacher

I coached Danielle on the Maryland Dance Team and she has been back to coach and choreograph for me for many years. She’s talented and the students on my teams love working with her

It's very rare that you find a teacher that pulls out the best qualities in your child as well as stresses the importance of education. It would be a great loss if she were to leave!!!!

Because of Ms. D’Anna’s dedication to her students, staff, and school I thrived at Blake high school. She provides opportunity that is one of a kind and settles for nothing less than the best. She brought our poms team from D3 to D1 and is constantly pushing the creative envelope. Blake High School needs her, and no other fit will ever do in her place!
