If Mr. Eising gets transfered, just watch the music department start falling apart...

Listen, I think what Sinclair is doing is SO DIRTY bruh. First off all, Eising has been here for a B R I C K. He’s passionate about his job and is one of the very few GENUINE teachers at Blake, because most of the teachers are horrible. First, you’re trying to get rid of Mrs. D’Anna who is an amazing woman and my idol and icon. She teaches me so much outside of dance and I sit with her everyday at lunch. NOW you’re getting rid of Eising and that just doesn’t make any sense at all because he’s also just as amazing and passionate about what he does. Wake up Sinclair, if you start getting rid of people like Eising and Mrs.D’Anna you will be getting rid of people who actually genuinely care and like their jobs. These teachers CARE about the well being of students outside of class unlike 99.9% of those other teachers. KEEP MR.EISING. HE’S GREAT JEEZ.

I cannot understand this decision. Mr. Eising is one of the best teachers my children have ever had. He is truly a motivator, a mentor, and a leader. Students choose to come to Blake, and choose to do instrumental music, because of him. We urge the school to rethink this decision. As a Signature Arts and Humanities school, it is critical that those programs have the support of the administration. The school has TWO bands and TWO orchestras, as well as jazz band and percussion. It is astounding to think that this level of student involvement cannot support two instrumental music teachers. Reducing staff is unacceptable.

It’s beyond absurd to lose the band teacher at the signature school for the arts.

This is outrageous....Mr. Eising DOES NOT deserve to be fired from Blake and get transferred to another school. We need him here! He has put his heart and soul into this music program. I'M NOT HAPPY AT ALL...If you do let him go, I will find a way to withdraw my child from the school.

The personal relationships and support at Blake for Mr. Eising allow him to accomplish so much more than just one person ever could. Parents choose Blake because of Eising. Students choose Blake because of Eising. Students come to school every day because of Eising. This man is a true motivator and leader.

Mr. Eising is one of the most beloved teachers at Blake. He is the heart and soul of the Blake music program. The number of young lives that he has helped shape over 14 years is too large to count. This decision cannot be allowed to stand! Please contact the school administrators and MCPS and let them know that this decision is unacceptable. Especially for a school that is supposed to be a leader in the Arts!

Mr Eising is an invaluable piece of the fabric of Blake High School. I cannot understand how you could do this especially in light of the importance of music and art for mental and emotional health. I'm sure you are aware that our students have been dealing with tremendous grief and anxiety. Music has been a part of their healing and coping. Don't you have access to research that shows the importance of music in growing healthy, balanced adults? My son is graduating this year and my eldest graduated in 2014 and they both have fond memories of working with and learning from Mr. Eising. I urge you to reconsider this decision.
