I graduated in 2005 and I believe he just started the year prior to that. He is a great teacher. Patient and kind. Not many like him left

Getting rid of the music department chair in an arts school is just wrong in every way, specially because of how talented and hard working Jon Eising.

He's an amazing teacher even though I don't have him I've heard so many good things he doesn't deserve to be cut.

Mr. Eising seems like an important teacher to a lot of students firing him because of something that isn’t his fault is wrong and unfair.

Getting rid of a music teacher at an arts school. Not a bright move.

I’m so disappointed in this complete error in judgement of the Montgomery County Pinkic School system to involuntarily move Mr. Eising. This needs to be stopped.

There is a lot to be said about Jon Eising. But first and foremost he was a major part of the music program at Blake that has shaped most of my life. Mr. Eising co-lead the marching that I was proud to be a part of for 4 years. He was actually my band director in different band classes throughout those years too. I learned how to work hard, be a part of a team, put on a show “rain or shine”, lead and teach groups of people, and so much more. I went on to go to berklee college of music on a scholarship and have lead an amazing music filled life. My story and those similar are very common to hear from musicians who grew up with during my four years with Mr. Eising as our band director.

He’s a great music teacher, he’s gives kids laughes, teaches well, and has been there for years and never seems to disappoint anyone.
