WE THE UNDERSIGNED, RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS THE PROSECUTOR OF THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT, OPEN AN INVESTIGATION TO CONSIDER WHETHER CRIMINAL CHARGES SHOULD BE BROUGHT AGAINST THE FOLLOWING FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY AND THE AIDING AND ABETTING OF WAR CRIMES:

JANE DOE 1-1000 BEING UNKNOWN AGENTS OF THE CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

WHEREAS, the aforementioned individuals, in their capacities as elected or appointed officials of the United States Government have promulgated or enforced policies that have resulted in the incarceration of individuals seeking protection at the borders of the United States by applying for asylum; and WHEREAS,those individuals who arrived with children under the age of eighteen years were forcibly separated from their children for an extended period of time between June of 2018 to the present; and WHEREAS, in a number of those cases parents and caregivers have been deported from the United States without their children being reunited with them, the exact numbers of which are unknown at this time; and WHEREAS, several children and adult asylum seekers have died while incarcerated in facilities under the jurisdiction of the United States of America; and WHEREAS adult and minor asylum seekers are still being incarcerated in facilities that fall below recognized norms of habitation and decency; and WHEREAS, the government of the United States of America, under the direction of the aforementioned Donald John Trump, in his capacity of President of the United States of America, having delegated to his military subordinates the operations involving carrying out a policy of supplying intelligence and weapons to the military of Saudi Arabia, who in turn has been utilizing that aid to conduct a campaign of indiscriminate bombing on the civilian population of Yemen; and WHEREAS, the aforementioned acts constitute the commission of crimes against humanity as defined by Section 7 of the Treaty of Rome and war crimes in violation of Section 8 of the Treaty of Rome as well as recognized definitions of crimes against humanity and war crimes by any civilized nation predating the Treaty; and WHEREAS, the United States of America participated in the prosecution of similar crimes at the end of the 2nd World War against the political and military leaders of the Third Reich;

THEREFORE, the undersigned respectfully request the Prosecutor Of the International Criminal Court, FATOU BENSOUDA, open an investigation to consider whether criminal charges should be brought against the individuals named above for the crimes delineated in this petition.
