Some UL 2196 / ULC-S139 Listed fire-rated cables produce toxic and/or combustible smoke and gases when exposed to typical building fire temperatures. We know it isn’t very easy to let UL know directly, so we want to provide you with an opportunity to have your voice heard! Join us in petitioning UL to include testing for dangerous gases as part of the UL 2196 standard.

Let UL know that as a Fire Safety Professional you want testing for dangerous gases included in the UL 2196 standard.
