Special focus on narrowing the road from Strawberry Hill Court to Prospect Street. If this is accomplished, we can look forward to improvement of safety for all pedestrians and drivers. Thank you.

Absolutely! We need to prioritize the safety of our kids and comunity in general. Stamford is getting overcrowded(non-productive over development) there is minimal attention to safety . Also we need to focus on Traffic control for commercial vehicles!!

I'm not in favor of lowering the speed limit to 20mph while school is in session, but know traffic calming and crosswalks are desperately needed.

Stamford has too many dangerous pedestrian crossings. Improved safety for pedestrians, especially near schools, but across the city, needs urgent improvement.

I walk quite a bit in Stamford and am fairly fearful for my own safety. I have almost been hit a number of times. I actually have had to stop walking in any non-well-lit hours (bad weather, sun-up, sun-down), because I can't risk my kids being fatherless.

As a parent of 2 children in Stamford Public Schools, I am alarmed at the number of school kids walking to and from school on unsafe streets. Stamford needs to drastically improve upon pedestrian safety in our city.

As the city of Stamford continues to grow, we will continue a surge of pedestrians. We need to ensure the safety of all pedestrians including our children. There should be no exception as to why prominent signage is not available in areas of concerns, Stamford High area especially!
