I have travelled in many countries' MRT but have NEVER experienced any breakdowns. In Singapore the breakdowns are so frequent it's becoming a norm. You have the trepidation in you, each time you board the MRT train and you pray that you'll not be late for work. Very unreliable indeed

Although I don't take train often only weekends. When the train breakdown 2-3 days in a row, you can't afford to charge the comuters more. And this people the kings of sg transportation has the courage to do this last year despite train broke down and implement an increase prices in later months. This people trying to show the comuters are at fault for using the train. Is like it is the buyer fault becoz the rest of ur products started to spoil.

I was affected by the massive Wednesday 28 June breakdown. Poor coordination and delay was not 15 mins as communicate. It's hours. Missed my meeting with my China based friends here in Singapore.

If already more than 2 years and problems still cannot be resolved. The Minister of Transport and CEO should step down and replaced by people who know the job. This clearly is management issue.
