Your reasoning is flawed. What happens if there is 100 signatures? Nothing? Why do you care?

If it is so official then don't comment on here.

Honestly we should even try more than once. If he can't do his job right it's not our responsibility

Okay first of all, everyone has their own experiences with Mr. S. So no one can say if anyone is right or wrong. I'm saying though that obviously the school board would not just fire someone for no reason. There have been a constant flow of complaints about him from various people so you can't say that every single one of those people are wrong. Also, yes it's a sad thing for someone to lose their job but it is not our responsibility. If he can't correctly do his job to an extent, then he doesn't deserve it. If he can't do his job he can't do his job. It's like pitying a football player who get fired for not catching a pass. They get PAID for that. It's their JOB to catch a pass. Not To be a "kind of nice guy". I'm not going to give you a long list of things that make Mr. S a bad teacher because if some of you would just read all the comments you would be able to collect it all. And at this point there is really nothing that you can do. It's official. Just please understand that there are people suffering under this guy. There are people losing their love for music because of him. People who want to go to college for music but now can't even improve in class!

Mr. S is a good teacher. It is as simple as that. And now because a bunch of kids thought that getting yelled at was "too abusive", so they (whoever the individual was) ran to the school administration and cried that he was a mean guy. Well they are wrong about that, he is a good teacher and a nice guy, just because he gets a little angry when students push his buttons shouldn't mean he loses his job, especially when he likes what he does.

And you have no right to call other people's reasoning "trash"

Actually I liked Mr. S at first and none of this drama is BECAUSE of any one person. I'm not a freshman and yet all the freshmen hate Mr. S...huh? And they are not only social problems, its his lack of skill when it comes to playing the viola and conducting. Also, I have never once complained about Mr. S to the school board its allll other people.

Thinking Mr. S is actually good at playing the viola is completely YOUR opinion.

It was several different times...a counselor had to come to our class multiple times to monitor Mr. S to make sure he would compromise with us and treat us fairly.

You aren't on the board so you haven't "seen" anything.

I'm beginning to think you are not in Batavia Orchestra. Mr.S is great with the viola, maybe I can't say that because I'm not as musically talented as you, but he also has played for many different groups who obviously thought he was skilled enough.

If you guys notice, some of the people who are bashing him are anonymous. If you have the balls to say what you want to about him, have the balls to acknowledge yourself. Stop being chumps. Like seriously suck it up like quit if you have to if you don't like Mr.S because I know you can have a private teacher and still be a great musician.

Oh my gosh Mrs Brown was WAYYYYY better than Mr s. At least she could play her instrument.

Not saying you shouldn't complain but as far as I have seen all your complaints are unreasonable trash. No reason for him to lose his job.

You are delusional if you think The board would leave a decision like that in one orchestras hands. It was the students who complained, but it was the board who decided the consequences.

I wish I knew how many times you tried. If I could guess it was something like once or twice.

And neither of them were any better than Mr.S yet he gets so much disrespect.

100% your groups fault. If you're gonna get him fired at least accept that.

Just because there are other teachers who suck doesn't mean they should and doesn't mean we should take it. Mr s is the first orchestra director we "got rid of". Mrs Brown and Mrs Fuereborne (or however you spell it) both moved on to better schools on their own.
