It's time we wake up and have some vision! We got to start responding instead of reacting.

I join in solidarity against this suspected act of fraud! A residual of #colonialism #racism #colorism and urge that we continue to #fightracism in the spirit of our ancestors in this the International Decade of People of African Descent (#IDPAD)! To our queens subjected to the abuse of a stacked pageant you keep shining and use this experience to join the fight against oppression!

I believe because the title is us I, the island should be represented. How can you answer to a culture and its customs if you only lived there for 6 months? That is an insult and holds no validity.

This is wrong on so many levels but not just blatant disrespect to our VI young, beautiful and talented Queens but an overall disrespect to the proud people of the Virgin Islands. There needs to be accountability for these actions!

A former contestant of Miss bold and beautiful. Miss international Bold and beautiful. A delegate of Miss USVI INTERNATIONAL AND A FORMER MIss USVI Large and Incharge 2017. I can honestly say I’m very disturb and upset to know that I am one of the products here in the Virgin Islands and a motivator for our future delegates have tried so hard to recognize pageantry as a learning growing experience! However, now I have to explain how outsides can capture a title with out falling the rules and the franchise being fraudulent! Get them out of here!

Without dignity, identity is erased. In its absence, men are defined not by themselves, but by their captors and the circumstances in which they are forced to live. Laura Hillenbrand

It’s not fair to have a representative of a country who doesn’t know anything about that country.

The people that created the criteria for this pageant need to revisit them... this is not right. They should be ashamed of themselves.

We have many local ladies who are capable of running and representing where they are truly from. Stop allowing outsiders to do what they want just to get by.

The newly crowned Miss USVI is NOT a resident. She was just in a pageant in Utah in January!!! She is a fraud and disrespectful of the USVI. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! SHE MUST BE REMOVED!!! Your rules for eligibility must be reevaluated NOW!!!!
