Disrespectful of USVI culture. Never really lived in the island. Does not even know the culture of the island because she never lived in the island.

Considering the small size of our population, the magnitude of our contribution in so many areas to include pageantry is truly phenomenal. Even as the world moves toward what can be called a global culture which forces us to look beyond our Community to face challenges and seek opportunities, we MUST as a people go forward secure in our home grown US Virgin Islands Caribbean identity, iwe MUST invest the resources necessary for our culture’s preservation and strengthening.

If participating in Utah in January the residency requirement could not have been met. The question is what did she use for residency? If she used another person’s stay as claimed on another post (the fema worker ) that is still fraud. She is an adult not a child so her residency is her own.

This is absolutely ridiculous. There is no way a person who has not grown up in the USVI should be running to represent our islands. This is a matter of culture.

It is my strong belief that only a person born in the U.S.V.I and grew up here , or that has resided here in the V.I. for at least 4 years of their Adult life can run for an International competition representing the Virgin Islands.

I am tired of "others" with no knowledge or ties to the Virgin Islands trying to acquirer what is ours as natives of the territory. It's time to stand up and say No More! We are tired of your self entitlement. You can not have what is mine. You are not entitled to ANY of it. And WE the people of the Virgin Islands will no longer allow it!
