I believe the candidate cannot and should not represent the USVI as an ambassador. It’s embarrassing to the Territory as she has no ties or vested interest. Our tax dollars should not support her in wish to pursue her career.

This is a a slap in the faces of our ancestors and native Virgin Islanders with deep roots who know our history. She does not represent the Virgin Islands Crown and glory shameful! She didn't win the crown stateside but found some below the table way of winning that is not who we are and yes I'm 3rd generation V.I.

I am in agreement with this petition. Do she know anything about our culture? Did she go to anyone of our schools from K-12 ? Do she know about our local foods? Or even our VI. March and our flower? She doesn't even have our accent.

She clearly don't know anything about the USVI. No one should be allowed to compete if their is not solid evidence that they lived and worked in any of the VI.
