I fully support any mandate by the citizens of Massachusetts to “open the books” for an examination into the soaring costs of our energy supply.

Over $500 per month for a 1200 sq ft home with a smart thermostat. We paid less for oil last winter. Working families need this money for groceries.

It’s ridiculous how my bill is $20 and they charge $40 for delivery of free energy so then I have to pay $60 for a $20 worth of use

Our oil heating system broke this fall and we converted to gas expecting that our monthly heating bill would decrease slightly. We paid less per month for oil last winter than the bill of over $500 we just received. I applied for a the HEAP program but our income as teachers was considered too high to qualify. The HEAP program also did not care that we have a family member with a severe disability who has related expenses that other children do not have . They said disability information is only collected for statistical purposes. We cannot afford this. I feel we would have been better off continuing to use an furnace.

We should have to pay for the failed policies of our state government. And we should not pay for the failed offshore wind boondoggle that Eversource/Ngrid has charged off.
