Petition To Halt And Reverse Eversource Rate And Delivery Hikes, Eliminate Extortive Public Interest Charges

Sick and tired of paying these high bills

Last month bill $ 856.Jan. / Feb.

Price hikes in both Eversource electric and gas bills are outrageously high.

Along with everyone else, we cannot afford these increases. A fixed budget as retired does not allow room for these expensive charges and changes! I cannot imagine how families with young children, people who must choose between food, heat, rent are suffering. In my own small town about 10 yrs ago an elderly woman froze in her home - Heat? Food? Prescriptions? She couldn't afford it all.

These delivery charges and supply rates a unsustainable and will ultimately damage the economy of the state

I hear torches provide heat also. And pitchforks are great for harvesting oily corporate fuel.

Protect the cold and hungry, lower rates.

The price I pay for electricity exceeds 60% of what I pay for rent. I have electric heat and keep it below 60 degrees 100% of the time. Total insanity. Myself and other community members cannot continue affording these rates.

Lower the frigging delivery charge you crooks

Not fare we shouldn’t have to pay for their cost of doing business. Just like the grocery store cant charge 10 cents for a bag don’t bill me for electricity traveling over a wire

Gas bill delivery prices should not be going up this much. This is ridiculous.

I have balanced billing with National Grid. They increased my payment from $161 to $318. Not to mention the delivery charge which brings my bill to over $500!!! I called them and said I can only afford the original $161 . They said ok, but no more balanced billing. They also said that they couldn't make any adjustments for the balanced billing!

This is bullsh$t!

Consider your senior citizens.
