Our bill is now up past 1k a month when it was never more than $400/month in years past. Nothing is different in terms of our actual usage. How are they able to charge this much for "delivery" fees - it's disgusting.

Eversources profits are obscene and you've approved even more money in their pockets? Shame on you! We're struggling, not Eversource.

The delivery fee is more than double the cost of the gas used. Elderly people are very vulnerable.

My delivery charge is always double what I use. It's criminal!

I am fine to get more and more difficult to be able to live in massachusetts. The Gas bill Greatly affects my ability to buy food and pay for other bills. For a thirteen hundred square foot house where I keep the heat on sixty six during the day and sixty at night. Do laundry in cold water and use clothes line to dry. Dishwasher only run once a week. Minimal hot water usage. My bill should not be over four hundred dollars a month.

The most $$ I have paid for one month of gas. I have been in my home for 25 yrs Sickening

I am writing to formally petition for a review and reduction of Eversource’s excessive fees and rate structures, which have unfairly burdened Massachusetts residents. Despite efforts to conserve energy and reduce consumption, customers are being charged fees that often surpass their actual energy usage. These unjustifiable costs, largely a result of ineffective policies and regulatory failures, demand urgent intervention. Eversource’s current billing practices include excessive delivery charges, transmission fees, and surcharges that significantly inflate utility bills. The consequence is that consumers, especially middle-class families and small businesses, are paying more for fixed charges than for the energy they actually consume. This structure not only discourages energy efficiency but also places an undue financial strain on households already struggling with the rising cost of living. The root of this issue lies in weak state-level regulatory oversight and policies that have allowed Eversource to prioritize profit over fair pricing. Instead of protecting residents from corporate overreach, current energy regulations have enabled monopolistic behavior that forces consumers to pay for infrastructure and administrative costs at an unjust rate. Without intervention, this will continue to undermine affordability and economic stability for thousands of Massachusetts households.

Delivery charges are outrageous. And go to Mori Healy. Doesn’t do nothing about it. Sometimes I wonder how these people get elected. She’s all for her not for anybody else. Except the immigrant that Us taxpayers have to keep paying for. I don’t understand how this does not come to a vote when they start raising the prices of gas electric taxes. This is unbelievable. This just cannot stay like this.

You might also add that they're rejecting and not putting a credit on my account when I send them any negotiable instruments which is what we're all going to be doing in the future we all have to move our credits to them that's how they get paid. But the thing is is they're getting paid there and they're billing us out of our pocket they're double dipping!! I sent them over $10,000 worth almost $20,000 worth of eligible instruments. I've got hobbies in the mall and I know they got them I got certified mail receipts that they picked it up and they told me they never got it and they never acknowledged it or called me you would talk to me. It is illegal to not accept and negotiable instrument so they're in default they didn't send it back to me either so they did get compensated with my signature and my living life as a woman signature.
