I am on a Plan as Eversource does offer help to anyone who might need assistance. But for those not meeting their criteria I think these hikes are just too much. Please reconsider

My electric bill is nearly double the same time last year. Usage is down slightly but the delivery charge has more than doubled. This is for a home that is fully electric, a move that now seems very fiscally foolish.

A 27% increase (approved by the State Legislature and Governor), coupled with retroactive billing of 3 months, then “suggesting” a 5% decrease is beyond insulting considering the pay raises our “public servants” (read: “self-serving representatives”). Add to this that DELIVERY charges exceed, and in some cases are double, the supply charges, and anyone who voted for this should be removed from office IMO. This is not a representative democracy showing the will of the constituents and the fact that Facebook shut down the Citizens Against Eversource site just contributes to the oppression.

Please demand that the CEO pay rate be included in the figuring what is a fair rate for users to be charged!

My Eversource Gas was over $400 last month and over $500 this month for a 2 br with insulated windows and we don’t turn the heat up too high. Low 60’s at night, mid 60’s during daylight and 67 in the evening. Never had it this high in 20+years. This is wrong and we can’t afford it! Needs to change NOW.

Bill last month was $615 and another almost $400 this month.

Need to reduce the exhorbitant delivery charges on our gas & electric bills…. With no re-couping of the small 5% reduction in the Summer. The billing statements are outrageous!

I sign this petition in search for transparency and accountability of the state in aspect of utilities. The disregard and disrespect for the people is inexcusable. Time for accountability and violation of the orders to protect ALL citizens of Massachusetts.
