I am a citizen of Newton County, Texas. I am concerned about the safety of my family, friends, fellow citizens and myself if Samuel Galbraith is paroled.

This is incomprehensible that a man that committed such a heinous crime could be walking the streets.

No one who rapes and murders innocent people should be allowed the right to walk amongst society, ever again!

This man should receive life in prison. How dare they allow him to be released after only 20 years of a 71 year sentence!!! This isn't a petty car theft crime!!! 20 years is a slap in the face of this poor woman's family and the justice she deserves!!!

I grew up with Karen as parents were close friends of mine. To think that this man didnt get caught right away and now gets to walk the streets again is crazy sad.

Please overturn this pardon and keep this person behind bars longer. He's barely even served a 1/4 of his sentence. This is a violent offender.

This situation highlights the fact that innocent victims and their families have little to no rights against violent criminals. This man Louisiana so blindly wants to turn loose onto law abiding citizens is a violent criminal. He does not deserve to step foot out of prison. What is the state of Louisiana going to do when he violently rapes and murders another woman if he is set free???? Please keep him in prison where he belongs.
