The building of new recreation facilities is most definately going to put a heavy burden on the tax payers budgets, and should without a doubt go to a referendum.

I would vote against it. We already have a swimming facility and an arena which had a new roof put on. I do not think the people of Fernie should be made to pay more taxes than they do already to build something we already have. Total waste of money!
