Petition to get Doug Kershaw inducted to the country music hall of fame

Man I've listened to his music since the 60's and have enjoyed even today he's still great. Just check out the rockabilly side of him WOW WOW WOW he deserved the hall of fame hands down

I just Seen Doug Kershaw tonight in Laughlin Nevada He s a legend and so deserves to be on one of those walls where he belongs he deserves that honer along with a lot of his friends.

I was really surprised to find that Doug was not a member. I first saw him on TV in the mid 60's and thought he was great. Amazing career and exposed this NYC'er to some fantastic country/cajun music.

We were playing at the State fare in Sacramento in 1995 for the Murphy Irish dancers afterwards I played with this guy we had a jam by the pool at our hotel until 4.30am. First time I saw someone play a fiddle behind their back. Superb!

I'm more than a fan...I was his guitar player for a couple of years. The name 'Ragin' Cajun' suits him! One of the most stage active players I ever saw!
