I have known Doug Kershaw all of my life along with his brother, Rusty Kershaw, now deceased. Doug has represented Louisiana and the culture in his songs all of his life. He is very great songwriter, recording artist and has great sense of humor that citizens around the world embraces. Doug Kershaw has earned his position to be inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame. He would definitely have my vote as he earned it....God Bless those involved in this endeavor...

I have been a fan since the mid 70's, and his music is always playing in my brain. My Mom met him and took care of his wife when one of his sons was born, she told me then that he was the kindest man she ever met. That was an inspiration to me in life as much as his music
