Doug Kershaw is the reason I wanted to play fiddle when I was a kid ... and I'm now lucky enough to have one of his fiddles for my very own. He's an inspiration, a true talent, and a gentleman. It's past time to honor the Ragin' Cajun.

Long overdue, Doug AND Rusty should BOTH be in the Hall for their contributions to country-, Americana and music in general, including their maintaining and promoting the appreciation of the Cajun influence on American music.

Doug is my cousin. I've listened to his (and Rusty's) music since I was a toddler. Love love love his Cajun music....brings me back to my childhood in Louisiana. Doug certainly deserves to be in the Country Music Hall Of Fame! He also deserves the Lifetime Achievement Award! Good Luck!

I've been listening to Doug Kershaw's Cajun Fiddle all my life.
When I hear one of his songs it takes me home to my childhood in Lake Arthur where I spent each summer. He's truly loved and respected by all of his fans, me included!

One of the all time greats ...............Extremely gifted on the fiddle, accordian and squeeze box.........Number one at Cajun Music........Puts on the best live shows I have ever seen
