The Dunkin Donuts entrance, exit and drive through traffic is causing some very dangerous situations for motorists on the Golden Strip in Williamsport. I am starting this petition to pressure the local borough and Dunkin to work together to make the traffic flow for drive through and parking lot simpler and safer. My thoughts are to move the drive through lane to the far right and extend around the outside of the parking lot.
I started this petition so we could have a serious discussion about this and hopefully find a solution. This is by no means meant as an attack on Dunkin Donuts or it's employees.

I agree 100%! The drivethru should be extended towards the back of the parking lot to allow more cars to be off the street at peak times. Some mornings there are 8-10 cars stopped on the road (a fairly busy one) causing traffic issues. Someone is going to be seriously injured one of these days!
This has been a dangerous place for years, if I ever am in that area during the busiest travel times of the day, I avoid the strip completely because of the congestion that Dunkin donuts causes.
I have been caught unexpectedly behind those in the right hand lane attempting to turn into the drive-through lane and have found it to be dangerous attempting to change lanes in order to bypass the "logjam"!
This is an issue that needed to be fixed a long time ago. Even if you are not a Dunkin customer the congestion gets in the way and has almost been the cause of numerous accidents.
I cannot begin to tell you how many times my mother and I have nearly been in an accident. The people that try to come in don't always pay attention to the people coming out, and nearly cause a wreck. The congestion trying to get in has caused a few accidents as well. This needs to be fixed!! <3
This has to be corrected or someone's going to get hurt or killed. It's unbelievable that the city hasn't petitioned any change earlier.
I have been on the same side and had to go into passing lane to get threw. I was on the other side also where they were in line to cross the two lanes to get into Dunkin. Some is going to be killed before something corrects this. Do you customers really have to have Dunkin? Is it worth the risk you all are putting people in that aren't going to Dunkin? Just make your coffee or whatever at home!

This is a very hazardous parking lot for cars and pedestrians. There's not enough room for inflow and egress. What about a back way out through by the Harley Davidson lot to the light at Hoss' for dine-in customers?
