Petition to file class action lawsuit against Elio Motors

Two years ago there were no promises of a car in months. You really got lost some where along the way.

I guess if you could not afford to spend 100 bucks because of meds you should not of gotten in. How were you planning on paying the other $6700?

I hope they don't. If they signed on and made a non-refundable deposit without actually understanding the terms of the agreement, well, too bad for them. I'd rather they be made an example of!

funny kind of a fraud;, buying a factory, getting legislation changed, setting up crowd funding, getting government approvals.... it seems like they are going to a lot of effort for nothing. you have sour grapes? drink some wine and get over it.

what part of NON-REFUNDABLE did you not understand.. you chose non-refundable, now live up to your decision. Who ever signs this (with the exception of Mike) really needs to go back to school and learn to read.

I would be embarrassed to add my name to this list. It would tell all who see it that I was not intelligent or savvy enough as an investor to understand exactly what risk I was taking! Hopefully, those of you on the list have learned something about your own decision-making capabilities or lack thereof. Surely, no court would lend credence to such a suit anyway, or all contracts for anything would be potentially null and void, which would destroy the American economy.

If you people sent in money without reading the agreement, it is your own fault. Even if you manage to find a lawyer to take your idiotic case, the Elio will most likely be rolling off the assembly line before it ever gets to court. If you couldn't afford to invest in the future, you should have kept your money in the bank. Apparently you enjoy making yourselves looked like illiterate, whiny babies.

Take ownership of your financial decisions. You were not deceived by anyone. You deceived yourselves. You should have read and understood the agreement and the financial implications before releasing your cash. Here is the full non-refundable reservation agreement. Since you obviously failed to read it before completing your reservations, you should read this now, and then consider if you should spend more cash on legal fees. Reservation By entering into this Reservation Agreement you hereby confirm that you wish to reserve a Elio vehicle (prototype can be viewed on our website). 2. Nature of Agreement; Non-Binding Reservation Payment The Reservation Payment is NON-REFUNDABLE and provides you with the benefits in Section 4 below depending on the level of your payment. Got a tee-shirt and bumper sticker almost two years ago for $100.00 and a promise that I would be able to buy a Elio within several months. Feel I was total scammed from the beginning.
