Petition to file class action lawsuit against Elio Motors

I have asked for my reservation deposit back twice and so far nothing. Every year Elio pushes it to the next year. Where is all the money???

Was one of the first to go ALL IN with 1000. Looked good at first. Now want money back.

Continuous BS about re-inventing the wheel! I want my $1,000 back also.

I have also asked for a refund on my $1000.00 and was told I made a non refundable deposit.

I have try number of times to ask for a refund and Elio Motors totally ignore my request

I believe their contract was broken when they did not deliver in a reasonable time. They refuse to return my money. I think that this may be a criminal offense holding on to funds that they; do not own.

Paul is a criminal!! 5+ years of broken promises. The end is near!

It is a scam. Their office is a mail forwarding service. They have no manufacturing facility. They buy their display cars from a custom car builder.

I bought my reservation in 2013. Followed very closely since. It is a scam. I looked at the names of those signing this petition and many are those that blindly supported Elio Motors for years. Elio Motors needs to be stopped and retribution paid. 123 million dollars spent and nothing to show for it. All that came from hopeful trusting persons.

This is a Ponzi scheme. I'm embarrassed to have falen for it - but I really believed in it. I needed a solution. Now I just want to see Paul Elio do time and be stripped of the cash he bilked people for.

Ever since 2013 Elio was completely aware as is anyone with any automotive manufacturing knowledge at all that the ELIO can not be built and sold for $7,300. You only need to look at the two major competitors the Can Am Spyder and Polaris Slingshot. Both produced by big manufacturers with all the benefit of scale, technical know-how and huge dealer networks. $20k is where they start and in reality are much less complex than the Elio since they don't need heat or ac or a host of other features Elio claims they will have. I 'gave' Elio $1000 with the understanding back in in 2013, that the vehicle prototype was what was going forward with 'Off the Shelf' components (to get to manufacturing faster). I incorrectly believed that with the millions Elio has collected, the money was being used to move the car to production. We've been mislead and Elio has lined his pockets with our money.

I am one of the original $1000 depositors. I received an updated offer from ElioMotors but declined the "New Offer"

Actually pissed now. There's no reason to delay production another year. I deserve a refund regardless of some stupid disclaimer. Elio does not understand how to make progress.
