My initial deposit of $100.00 was made 4/9/2013. On 8/3/2013 I advanced by deposit to $1000.00 to obtain spot number 1152 on the reservation list. While in the fine print of the “reservation” there was an indication that the deposit was non-refundable, marketing expressed a target date for production of one year. Additionally the acknowledgement of the receipt of both the initial deposit and the advanced deposit made no mention of the deposit being non-refundable. “Thank you for your reservation that demonstrates your commitment to the Elio movement and making a difference. Now that you've "joined the club" so to speak, you'll be receiving our newsletter and updates as the revolution in personal transportation picks up speed and momentum. We appreciate you sharing our vision and optimism that there really is a better way to move all of us and it's called Elio!” There were three things that attracted me to the Elio and impacted my decision to make a deposit: 1. The tubular steel frame provided a “roll cage” structure. This made it believable that delivery would be possible and having a roll cage on such a small car appeared to be a safety feature. This design was recently abandoned for conventional steel panels. 2. SMC body panels. Combined with the tubular steel frame. Accidents that did not affect the structural integrity of the frame could me easily and cheaply remedied without requiring a body shop. 3. Marketing indicating the high usage of standardized components. As years have passed, fewer and fewer standardized components are being utilized. 4. A high level of marketing indicating that production was only one year away. This same marketing ploy is still being used. As the projected date of production approaches “Elio” extends a new production date of approximately one year out. This appears to be nothing more than an intentional misleading marketing to solicit additional reservations which now total nearly 65,000. It is my contention th

I placed two non-refundable reservations in early 2014, the first for $1000 and the second for $250. At the time I placed them, owing to Elio Motors advertising, I was led to believe that my vehicles would be delivered within 1 year. Also, the main reason I placed my reservations was because they advertised that the vehicles would be constructed using a tubular steel frame and SMC body panels. In my estimation, their recent decision to build the vehicles utilizing uni-body construction and pressed steel body panels, is a breech of contract. I'm sure an attorney may say otherwise, but frankly, I do not want the vehicles if they are not going to be constructed using a tubular frame and SMC panels and have contacted Elio Motors requesting a full refund of my deposits for this reason and was told that they would not refund my money and that if I did not want the vehicles to sell my reservations to a 3rd party myself and that if I did manage to find someone to buy them the spot in line would be lost and the purchaser would be assigned a spot as of the date I transferred ownership of the reservations

Been Been all in since 5/2013. Was sold/sold mine would be produced by spring/summer 2014. They still don't have a finap production design yet!

I'm not stupid and know I will never see my $1000 again. I just want some accountability.

I reserved a vehicle back in early 2014 when no one had any idea they had no money. It is fraudulent to sell reservations for a vehicle you have no means to produce meanwhile the "CEO" is raking in a $250K annual salary plus bonuses. Another board member is sitting back and collecting 18% interest on money loaned to the company. RACER Trust, who was supposed to be looking out for Caddo Parish's interest, the only "interest" they see to be looking out for is the interest they are collecting from money loaned to Elio Motors. Still no funding, still no jobs, still taking people's money, total fraud.

I have paid $1,000 to be "all in" early on in their development.

before reservation was made was told by salesman Ty that I would be driving it by December 2015.Have been refused a refund three times also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for false statements .

been waiting for car for four years, top 3 in company are paying themselves half million dollars a year to run company
