I believe Elio Motors urged us to come in sign up and they had no intentions of actually providing a vehicle.

Enough is enough. We all acted in good faith. How long does Elio expect for people to wait. I want my deposit back. We have all waited well beyond any of their predictions that continue to be pushed back back and back

That would be great to get my $1500 back considering I live on a fixed income of $800 a month. Unfortunately the company just got slammed with a $500,000 fine and they only are worth $120,000 at the moment....

A scam. Same as the DALE car from the 1970s. Put Paul in jail, make him pay back all the deposits.

unfortunately elio does not have any money to sue for. $100,000 in the bank and $100 million in debt and Paul pays himself $250k per year so at this point it is a sink or swim scenario, either obtain financing, unlikely, or file for bankruptcy.

Yep. I'm one of the suckers that put a deposit down about 3 years ago. There "office" in Phoenix is just a rented post office box, in an office building. (I used to live in Phoenix.) Paul Elio said, awhile back, that most of the deposit money is gone, (for day to day "operations"). There's really no money to get back, so any effort to get some would probably be a waste of time and money. Just saying. But I'm signing this petition, just in case.

I contacted the company the morning they were on the morning news with Rose in 2012.. My All-in number is 642 with $1000 deposit.. Why would the company continue to lease a factory if they are not in production unless it's a scam.. I read they are down to only having $100k on the books and have been selling equipment out of the factory.. Yip, looks like I was burned..

I loved the idea and was hoping for the bargain to be true but there was an agreement that they would produce the car and looks lik it will never happen from such a deficit. If they cant pay all their bills then at a minimum they ought to owe money back to people to pay that first!
