Petition to file class action lawsuit against Elio Motors

Lost $1,000 to this scam.

I put a payment on an Elio a looooong time ago. They WILL NEVER sell that car!

In September 2014, I made an all-in reservation of $1000 for spot #8122 in line. Additionally, I spent $600 for 50 shares of Elio stock. I received a T-Shirt, a bumper sticker, and a letter noting the amount of stock I needed to enter on some Web site to convert it to shares (which I never did). I even interacted with them, asking about a child safety latch (for a child who was 1 year old at the time and is now 11 going on 12). No car was ever delivered, and now they are selling electric vehicles, which is entirely different from what my good faith deposit expected in return.

I had two $1,000 deposits

Cost me over $2000, and now they are still stealing

Paul Elio is a fraud. This same small engine car scenario happened in the late 60's/ early 70s. The female promoter was prosecuted by the feds after they visited the production shop that only had a mowergas engine in it and no car prototype. Where are the Elio vehicles that were shown around the country? Does anyone own them?

This is a scheme and nothing more. It’s way past due dates and demand money returned, with interest and/or full monetary damages.
