This has been nothing but a scam. It’s been years past the promised date

All in at 1000.00 with a 2017 delivery date if I remember correctly. This company is a sham, they have one excuse after another. So I went to a car show about 2 years ago, I was wearing my 1000.00 shirt that they send me, a gentleman seen my shirt and asked what do I k ow about elio motors, I told him not much I just ordered the car they are making. So the man said he has cars from Honda or some other manufacturer at the same plant he advised me I do not think you will ever see a car from that company they are not making cars there, he said I don't what they are trying to do there.

Waited WAY too long for production to begin! Scam??

All in, $1,000 right from the beginning. Also invested in stock. Can honestly say I believe this was a scam from the beginning. I feel particularly bad for those who now are without anything. I doubt a class action will bring anything to us, as it will just make some lawyers money.

$1000 in 2016, since bought a used 2017 car. Can not get my money and they will not be producing a vehicle this. Again

I think Paul Elio has found a new way to run a Ponzie scheme. He should be held responsible and pay us back out of his pocket.

The actions of Elio Motors, “The Company” are at a minimum, deceitful, aim to misrepresent legitimate sales and delivery of customers, who in good faith placed deposits with the company. Furthermore, it appears that the company did not disclose that customer deposits would be used to fund the production of Elio cars, and may include “theft by deception”. The company has violated numerous Federal and State laws, in addition to not providing any delivery dates to customers, but rather has held the deposits hostage and/or spent the money only to leave customers without any proper recourse except litigation so as to allow remedies that would make the company refund all customer deposits. The actions of the company are outrageous and criminal in nature. This issue must be addressed and resolved so as to make all customers whole and set an example for others that theft by deception, breach of contract and other serious crimes are unacceptable in any marketplace, specifically the United States of America. Please participate in any Class Action that is currently filed, or will be filed soon. Time is of the best essence. The company may file bankruptcy which would potentially eliminate any means to obtain settlement refunds of deposits held.

How long does it take to get financing?
