I'm an all in, $1,000 reservation holder. I placed my reservation deposit in 2014. I wanted to be all in, to get my production number and queue, & get a 50% reservation bonus. At that time, Elio Motors stated that production would start the first quarter of 2015. This was very misleading by Paul Elio and his team. I thought they were close to being production ready. Had I known how unsure, and underfunded they were about starting production, I would have NEVER placed an all in reservation. They say hindsight is 2020. Well today, it's 5/9/2020, and I still don't have my Elio vehicle, or get any communication from Elio Motors. I just tried logging into their website to view my account reservation. It won't let me log in. Anyone else have the same problem? I still have the screen shots of my reservation deposit, and account number. I suggest that all reservation holders, check to see if they are still able to log in. At the least, you should have records of, and retain your own reservation number, with the bank payment information. Especially, if Elio decides to pull the plug on their website and vanish, like the vaporware they used, for taking our reservation money.

The Elio Motors story is so disappointing. All of Paul Elio’s promises to manufacture a low cost vehicle turned out to be just deceptive lies. My $1,000 deposit is now long gone with nothing to show for it.

I’m one of the moderator of the “Elio Owners” forum...Unfortunately I must now admit that the whole Elio Motors project has been a scam...Paul Elio took our money and lied to us for years... I feel like a fool for supporting Elio Motors... At the end of the day Paul Elio turned out to be a con artist!

Put money down to reserve an Elio, been over 8 years and NO VEHICLE as of 04/22/2020! RIP OFF ,and FRAUD!

I only paid $100.00 but it was five years ago. This whole setup is a scam and therefore I want my money back with interest.

I paid $1000 in 2013 and received a letter from Elio motors with a number 1039 on it & a T-Shirt that didn't fit. That's all I got for $1k. I would appreciate being involved in a class action law suit if you can make it happen. I want my $1000 back.
