Petition to file class action lawsuit against Elio Motors

its been about 8 years since I gave one thousand dollars refundable money, been trying for 3 years to get it back.

I invited $1000.00

I never signed a contract only spoke over the phone and took my$ 1,000 no receipt no info on this and I told the agent this is my down payment I am now 88and i surei willl never see a penny of my down payment. th 28 million should be in a trust account ,they have spent millions defending them selves . the attorneys have the best position. also senior abuse for all those seniors in this situation.

Sent emails to them but no response.

I placed 2 orders in 2014 (one non refundable for $250 #100016727 & one refundable $250 #100016504 / that was refunded on 7/12/16).

deposited 2014, never received anything!!!!

I've been in contact with them over the years. My free t-shirt with the 1000 dollar deposit doesn't fit any more and it completely worn out. Does anyone have a copy of the contract we signed? They told me 2017, then 2018, then stopped responding to my emails. The price of the car also went up. They told me 7500 when i first signed up.

Very cruel way to do business teasing us along your investors then dubing us for all electric.

I have ordered an Elio about 8 or 9 years ago expecting to receive it within a year or two. Elio has $1000.00 of my money and has not built the car or even contacted me about when they expect to build it. I gave them my money and have held up my end of the contract, they haven't held up their end at all. I consider the contract null and void and expect a full refund. Since gas prices have risen, this would have been an excellent time to produce the car. That tells me that they have no plans to build the car. Unfortunately, I have been forced into buying another vehicle which gets better gas mileage. Thank you.

Elio took money promised a car and NOTHING. I was misled.

Either produce the vehicle promised to me ten years ago, or give me back my deposit.

Scammers took $4k reservations for 2 cars. It’s obvious now this was never going to be reality. There was a time when tar and feathering would have been the result. Those were the days!
