I think doing ANY bridge work on the existing bridges during this economic boon will be nothing short of traffic pandemonium. Wait until after the SASOL expansion is finished. Then build a completely new I-10 bridge while keeping the current one open.

I cross this bridge on a regular basis.
After reading about it's problems,
I am rethinking other options.
Please fit this bridge.

I donated $5 to some online I-10 cause. Now I don't know WHERE the money went. I refuse to drive over the I-10 bridge in Lake Charles as do many companies with fleet vehicles. The new bridge needs a safety feature to keep distraught people from jumping off of it. It needs real lighting that is resistant to lightning strikes. If that thing collapses we will be a national embarrassment not to mention the lives that could be lost!

I don't go over that bridge! I go through Westlake. It is a catastrophe waiting to happen.

Our city is growing so fast that we need our bridges to be safe before some tragedy forces the issue.

The State of Louisiana is playing with "fire"! When that bridge finally crumbles I just pray that all 4 lanes aren't loaded. So get off your butts and do something before that happens!!!

This project needs to move forward. The taxes we pay are for many important things but this should definitely come off the back burner and push forward. Sooner than later. This city depends on safety for all!

Yes,25 years and legislators Federal and State can not get it done with modern technology. Bet the casino could get it done, better and safer. Do not vote for any Federal or State legislator in office now, a new legislator can not screw us anymore then the ones in office now. All the petro/chem. companies here in SWLa. I along with the help of our U.S. Military, should get this project done. I-10 is a major roadway for our military wheeled vehicles. Where are the trucking companies in this picture who have to travel this bridge, how about our school scstem daily tranporting our children across the I-10 bridge.
