While the casino industry is important to Lake Charles, the I-10 bridge is important to commerce and tourism for the entire southern portion of the state. The I-10 bridge is also a much more dangerous bridge than the 210. Please fix your priorities and let's take care of the danger before catering to local whims?

Don't wait for a tragedy to happen to build the bridge. It would be nice if was big enough for pedestrians and bikes also.

Please start the repairing or rebuilding process ASAP before someone has to lose their life for something to be done about this terrible bridge...I absolutely refuse to go over that bridge!!!

I travel this unsafe bridge twice a day or more. Just praying everytime I go over it that it dont collapse. I also work under the bridge. Its no.1 of the unsafest bridges in America! !!! Why do they not fix it?

The Calcasieu Bridge not only serves as the energy corridor, it also is the Gate Way to the South when traveling from the West. We as a State and City are on borrowed time with regards to the structural integrity of this bridge. It is not a gamble I want to live with.

The Calcasieu Bridge services not only SW Louisiana, but the entire I-10 east to west corridor. This aging 65 year old bridge is beyond its useful life and its replacement is paramount for the safety of our citizens and economic viability of our community. We must act now!
