Allow the care givers to have permanent residence status. This will allow them to change employers so they can work for families and others needing live in care. Otherwise they end up being held hostage by corporate interests in the privatized "homecare" industry.

I would like to have LIVE -IN Care workers given PR when they enter Canada. Many of them are taken advantage of because they have no Canadian status.

Please start acting to fulfill all the promises you have made to eliminate the backlog of applications for permanent residence status for the many caregivers in Canada. These people have been asking for many years. The time is act is NOW. Thank you.
