Petition to Eliminate Christmas End of Term Exams for Form Six Students

The Students of Form Six at St.Joseph’s Convent San Fernando are deeply concerned about the upcoming end-of-term examinations, which in our view, pose several challenges. These exams not only increase the overall stress and anxiety levels for both students and teachers, but also significantly impedes the precious time that could be dedicated to effective teaching, as well as the timely and comprehensive completion of content-rich syllabi and internal assessments (IAs). We firmly believe that the marks obtained from assessments done throughout the term more accurately evaluates the overall progress and performance of students and can be used for end of term. We appeal to you, the parents, to support our cause by joining and signing our petition aimed at eliminating Christmas end-of-term exams for Form Six students. Your support is crucial and will be greatly appreciated.
