PETITION TO EKURHULENI MUNICIPALITY: IMMEDIATE ACTION ON POWER OUTAGE IN SKY CITY

Increased prices on electricity while we share transformer with people who don’t pay,it’s been 5 days with no electricity and no communication from eskom. Can we as Skycity have our own transformer we are new development it only makes sense even laymen can make sense of that. We are paying we deserve our own transformer

We urgently need an update on restoration time and active efforts to restore our electricity. This is causing major inconveniences, we pay for rates and taxes in the Sky City area and honestly deserve a swift response and solution to this matter, kindly.

The situation is very depressing for me cos I work from home and I’m also a mom to a new born baby , it’s financially straining too

Skycity electricity outage to be restored

We have a new born and making a bottle every two hours and it’s cold and bathing her it’s a mission as we can’t bath her every day. Buying meat every day is expensive as the refrigerator is not working and we can’t iron our clothes or do laundry and it’s winter it takes time to dry. We in need of electricity. The costs are too much .

As Sky City residents we need our power substation, we pay a lot of money to municipality.

We are tired of this, we nned electricity back or informing of when it will be back
