The proposal of hundreds of new homes will lead to grid lock in Whittington Way, Friedberg Avenue, Viliers sur Marne Avenue, London Road and the bypass too. During School rush hour it's already difficult to come out of and back into Pynchbek. It will cause numerous problems for us residents in Thorley Park and by causing higher traffic volumes for othe Bishop's Stortford residents along London Road towards the town. Also it's already a huge traffic problem trying to get through Sawbridgeworth both in the morning and at times during the day.

Whittington Way is a joy to drive along, whether in spring, summer or winter. The road and surrounding fields are just beautiful if we take the time to look and enjoy. The banks are covered in daffodils and cowslips in spring and the sun streams through leafy trees in the summer. Sunsets are amazing whatever the season. Winter offers fields in mist and sparkling frosty hedges. Fact. Walks in the countryside on the doorstep. The history of Thorley also needs to be considered. We need to preserve places like this, not create yet another concrete jungle. The houses won't be big enough to actually live in anyway.

Adding hundreds of new homes will lead to chaos in Whittington Way, Friedberg Avenue, Vilies sur Marne Avenue, London Road and the bypass too. During School rush hour it's already difficult to come out of and back into Pynchbek. It will cause endless problems to us residents in Thorley Park and by causing higher traffic volumes for othe Bishop's Stortford residents along London Road towards the town and it's already a major traffic problem trying to get through Sawbridgeworth in the morning.

I find it hard to believe that EHDC can contemplate destroying Green Belt land. The roads around the proposed Whittington Way development are barely adequate now. Adding hundreds of ne homes will lead to chaos in Friedberg Avenue, Vilies sur Marne Avenue, London Road and probably the bypass too. It will cause misery to residents in Thorley Park and by causing higher traffic volumes Bishop's Stortford residents along the London Road towards the town, in Thorley Wash and others towards Sawbridgeworth too. One questions whether those responsible for planning this have ever actually visited the area and spent time observing it. I think not. Please reconsider.

We strongly oppose any development on Whittington Way. Have already fought this a few years back and now it rears it's ugly head again.

The town and car parks are already gridlocked, doctors and schools are overcrowded, so we cannot cope with any more housing estates

Before new estates are built the infrastructure of the town must be addressed. Schools and medical facilities should be a priority

We moved to Bishops Stortford from London to get away from the over crowding estates being built. We would we want to damage the landscape of this town just to make it another suburb of London.

i oppose housing here there is already enough slack being taken by this town and it's wrong that 1000 houses should be considered when a school was refused. 2.5k homes on the opposite side of town 2 new blocks in South St and then the station development - soon we will have no green to look at!

The infrastructure of Bishops Stortford is collapsing. Housing and retail properties have been built consistently over the past years yet remain vacant! Please fix the problems for the existing residents before even considering more [redundant] housing

I have lived here for 48years and I believe building all these houses will spoil this beautiful town. It has changed so much since I was a little girl. I don't like what this town is becoming.
