Also, SACAP's poor management regarding communication. My professional registration was cancelled due to myself failing to pay my annual fees, but nowhere can they prove that an invoice or notification was sent to inform me my fees are outstanding. I will pay any moneys outstanding it I know about it, but hence they are of opinion they sent me AN email to inform me with an invoice but never have I received any correspondence from them regarding this. Also when asked to forward me that mail again, they can't. That proves their system is ineffective. The mail informing me my registration was cancelled and they expect me to pay an admin fee however reached me.

I do not feel that I have To pay a ton of cash to perform my
Job and be able to submit
Plans.

I have had so many bad experiences with SACAP's management. I'm sad to say that they 'protect' the public because they DON'T! It's embarrassing to have to be registered with them.

The SACAP values are: Responsibility, Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Transparency, Cohesiveness. Unless we have a leadership that subscribes to these, we cannot effectively transform our profession to achieve excellence, but instead, we will be doomed to regression and failure....and "people centered architecture" will remain but a pipe dream.

I do not want to be represented by a council that cannot commit to a legal, fair and moral guidelines as set out for them. And then they are suposed to protect the public... Against whom?
