Please deny rezoning to protect Stonemill Farm for paying for maintenance, green space and private parks from other associations and residents that will not be contributing to their upkeep.

Please don't build the town homes! There is much potential with the currently empty lot. Like many others the promise of commercial properties excited my husband and I when we purchased our home on Anvil Curve two years ago.
With the amount of children and dogs that Stonemill Home owners have two parks and a coffee shop would be wonderful. A child's play area, a dog park, benches and perhaps (hopefully) a small coffee shop. Just an idea but honestly we would be happy with anything besides residential property.

It is outrageous for the 'real estate wealthy class' to be able to rezone a plot of land right smack in the middle of an area where residents pay direct private fees for parks, trails, seasonal decorations, etc.; in a way that it is practically impossible for the new residents to not utilize these amenities and not pay for them.
The victims are the existing homeowners that pay for these amenities through their community fees.
The administrators/sellers (that promised that future developments in the labelled lots would be value-enhancing vs. value-harming for home values) should be held accountable to answer for their actions to their existing customers/buyers .
While more information information is needed before judgement could be made, this smells like a stinky deal among politically-connected crony capitalists.

Very concerned that this will cause overcrowding at Liberty Ridge Elementary - especially right after the school district finished redistricting. Also, we have too little retail in the area and need more. When this area was developed part of the attraction was the promise of a small commercial center on this lot - the developer should not be allowed to go back on those promises.
Live locally on Walnut Ln.

We want the land to be used as it is zoned. There is already plenty of residential build up. This land was zoned for commercial use and that is how it should be used. The community would greatly benefit from commercial presence in this corner of town.

We might have to think about moving if the town homes come up.

Stonemill Farms has a community fund that we all contribute 1.25% of our homes closing price when we sell a property. I believe that this fund has a stipulation that it must be used to enhance Stonemill Farms. One idea is that we could work with Newland to purchase that parcel of land an gift it to the City of Woodbury for a future park. I really like Brenda Ratzloff's idea of volleyball, tennis and pickel ball courts.

We do not need anymore townhouses in that area. It would hurt everyone's property values.

It would be such a shame to see more townhomes in that area when we were promised a few retail shops . I think everyone who purchased a home in Stonemill Farms imagined a coffee shop or convenience store. Green space would be even more welcome, but definitely not more housing! 11404 wagon wheel curve

We bought a home in Stonemill Farms with the understanding that this area was zoned commercial. We would not have bought our home knowing there would be town homes in both vacant areas. This also adds to continuing overpopulation of Liberty Ridge. Please do not re-zone.

The City of Woodbury needs to halt the mass building of single family homes - it does not have the infrastructure to support more single family homes and Stonemill Farms does not need any more town homes - it needs a gas station, small grocery store or some type of retail. Re-zoning this would be a colossal mistake and devalue the homes in the area.
