I am the black mother or a mixed race daughter and I would absolutely LOVE for her to have a Disney princess that she can identify with on this level as she grows older!

I feel the same exact way. i’m half black half white and i never felt like i fit into either catergories . people would automatically put me with tiana because she is black but i’m also white. it just sucks there isn’t a mixed disney princess

I would like my children to see characters that are representative of their mixed race to identify with.

I am of mixed decent, creole to be more specific. The princess and the frog came close to my idea of a mixed doll but would love to see a tan colored doll with curly long hair not one yet like this. Little girls love dolls and Disney can afford to make a doll that every little girl can say “ she looks like me”.

Hello! I am also mixed race, African American and white, and I have always felt like we didn’t have enough representation growing up. I appreciate you trying to make a change in this!!

There are several ethnicities, but there should be a mixed race princess.

Oh I forgot Naveen and Tiana were a mixed race couple as well. I just wish they would include more main characters who were mixed...

I had the same issue as a child. Interracial couples are more and more common every year. So many kids will grow up with no representation if Disney doesn’t get with the times. Mixed race marriages have been legal since the 60’s, and all they have to show for it is Disney Jr’s Sofia the first, which I just found out is mixed race. No child should grow up wondering why they don’t see people who look like themselves in Disney. It is such a staple in so many children’s lives. It has caused so many, such as myself. But of course, Disney will do what makes them money at the end of the day.

I’m Afro Asian and I’ve been waiting for a biracial Disney Princess for a while. When the world was introduced to Tiana in 2009, I was amazed at the fact that there was finally an African American princess since I was barely aware of representation at the time.

absolutely we should have a variety of disneys princesses conforming and representing different races! To reflect our diverse society! I'm thinking a story about how it's hard to be mixed race or some other narrative
